1980年代後半から1990年代初頭にかけてアメリカ国内で生産された、Lands' Endのチノトラウザーズです。T/Cツイル素材による実用的な一本で、フロントの深い2タックと裾のダブル仕上げが、ワーク由来の服にトラウザーズとしての整った印象を加えています。

■ ディテール

フロントは2タック仕様で、腰回りにゆとりのあるクラシックなシルエット。裾はダブルで処理されており、足元に適度な重みと落ち感があります。バックポケットは左右非対称で、左側がフラップ付きボタン留め、右側が玉縁ポケット。当時のトラウザーズによく見られる機能的な構成です。

ポリエステル65% / コットン35%のT/C混紡素材。綿100%に比べてシワになりにくく、洗濯・乾燥後も形が崩れにくい点が特徴です。Lands' Endが最も勢いのあった時期に本国で生産した、縫製の堅実なレギュラーアメリカ製品の一着です。

This is a chino trouser made by Lands' End, produced in the United States in the late 1980s to early 1990s. Cut from a T/C twill fabric, the piece combines the practicality of workwear with the composed silhouette of a proper trouser, shaped by its deep double pleats and cuffed hem.

■ Details The front features a two-pleat (inward-facing) construction that allows ease through the hips, lending a classic, relaxed silhouette. The hem is finished with a double cuff, adding weight and drape at the ankle. The back pockets are asymmetrical: a flap pocket with button closure on the left, and a plain welt pocket on the right — a functional detail common in trousers of the period.
