SilverTabは1980年代後半に始まり、90年代に広がったLevi'sのライン。
スケートやヒップホップ、グランジの周辺の太い穿き方から生まれている。
当時、この幅を大手が正面から出す例はほとんどなく、それがこのラインの立ち位置をつくった。
フィットは複数あり、本品はそのうちのLOOSE。
最も太いBAGGYほどの極端さはなく、腰から腿にしっかり余裕を取りながら、下に向かってわずかに落ちる。ショーツだとこの差が出やすく、裾が広がりきらず真っすぐ落ちる。

SilverTab began in the late 1980s and spread through the '90s, out of the wide way denim was being worn around skate, hip-hop and grunge. Almost no mainstream brand was cutting to that width at the time, and that is what gave the line its position.

The line ran to several fits; this pair is LOOSE. It stops short of BAGGY, the widest of them — generous through the seat and thigh, then easing very slightly downward. On shorts the difference shows: the leg opening doesn't flare to match the thigh, it falls straight.
